This tour is still in the planning stages and is now not likely to take place for some time.

Air India have informed us that they intend to start direct flights from London to Kolkata which will reduce the journey time enormously.

This ambitious journey will take us from the former capital of India, Calcutta up into the northeast states of India where a very separate culture has flourished. Its proximity to Burma/Myanmar, Tibet, Bhutan and Bangladesh means quite a distinct identity has flourished along the Brahmaputra River, and into the eastern end of the Himalayas.

This tour is likely to take place in November (the year to be announced).
